This awning was added to our caravan along with a canopy that goes through one of the ends and makes the perfect almost screened porch. It also helps provide shade from the sun. The screen was easy to install, only one person hung it up (my husband). It slopes almost completely to the ground which is nice (the awning pitch on our motorhome is adjustable). Stakes and brackets are supplied with the screen to secure it so it doesn't sway in the wind. Raising this screen will keep you dry when it's barely raining or foggy. When it rains heavily, water seeps through the mesh, but not as much as if the screen weren't there. It also reduces the wind somewhat. Easy to roll up when not in use and easy to detach when you need to roll up the top. A storage bag is included to prevent the screen from being damaged when not in use. It's a little pricey, but if you use your RV a lot, it's worth it.
