Our vet recommended it for irrigating our dog's ear. I don't see any dog really enjoying the process but the product is easy to use. The bottle is really well shaped to get the solution into the dog's ear quickly and easily. The plastic has no sharp edges and we have ordered it several times. The solution itself is fairly odorless, perhaps with a slight odor. But it's not uncomfortable. The wax seems to come off and doesn't irritate my dog's ear. The only issue I had was that we got the weekly cleanings done quickly as recommended by our vet. I wish it had more volume - our dog is 90 pounds. I have a feeling we'll get 3-4 flushes if we're lucky and that's just one ear flush! That's the only reason I would deduct a star. It's such a waste of plastic and hassle to keep ordering.
