What a misleading description ! Forget "privacy " or "also filters out glare " .
This overpriced screen !1) This screen reduces the monitor brightness . a lot ! - it get so dark that in a normal office you have to bump up the brightness to MAX to see anything,2) At this MAX Brightness setting . even at 45 degree angle - you can see all of the 70% of the screen . . . I am not kidding here.3) This screen is not mat . and you might think that it will have same excellent low glare of the MAC itself . WRONG - endless reflections from everywhere. which force you to bump up the brightness again .
