I have to say that I really like this food dryer. I was about to give a 5 star review but deducted a star due to company policy. They say just email us and get free silicone mats for your dryer. Well, then you have to fill out a form, then you have to leave a review and send them a screenshot of the review. I don't appreciate that. So my problem is with the policy, not the product. You should be upfront about getting silicone mats for a good review, not by sending an email asking for it and then forcing you to confirm your review. As you can see in the photo the dryer is large, for size reference these liter canisters are next to it. I like the temperature and time settings. I like metal bowls. The cookbook was a handy starting point. The setup instructions could be used. There was a question they answered via email. I got it initially just to make sure it worked as I wasn't planning on using it until the end of the summer. But once I started playing with it, it was so cool that I just started drying stuff. I didn't even know you could dry lemons or cucumbers. They are all delicious. I think he can live in my closet forever. However, I only had it for a few weeks. If it lasts 5-10 years I'll be happy. If it lasts less I will update this review. They say there is a guarantee, I don't know what it will be like but if I find out I will update. **I will let you know when I get mats.
