I own one and just gave one as a gift. You don't have to be a camper to appreciate this lantern, this light is great for at home if the power goes out, or as an extra light in your car--especially the red flashing light setting if you have an emergency. I love that it's USB rechargeable. It is nice and bright, or you can use a lower light setting. Both lantern and flashlight. It can recharge a phone in a pinch, but it takes awhile and then can drain the battery for the light. It's lightweight and durable. I'll probably give another one as a gift.
