My Pixelbook is a bit picky about which flash drives work in OS Recovery mode. This flash drive works every time. I love that the flash drive has two connectors, I can prepare the drive on my old laptop (running Windows 10) which doesn't have Type-C connectors. I can then use the flash drive on a Pixelbook that only has Type-C just don't use both ends at the same time. The flash drive comes with two end caps that cover the ends when not in use. It also has an option to attach a lanyard if you wish. The assembly is solid and easy; What I can't say about other flash drives with moving parts. I don't know how fast it is, but it doesn't feel slow - I know it. The price changes frequently but is fair at worst. I now have peace of mind knowing I can reinstall Chrome OS on my Pixelbook in the event of a disaster. I recommend and will continue to recommend these flash drives to laptop owners with Type-C ports or in almost any situation. I have no complaints - 5 stars!
