Review on πŸ§„ NexTrend Generation 3 Clear Garlic Twister by Brenda Wang

Revainrating 5 out of 5

better than abs, good for ginger too

I like Garlic Twist. I have small hands and it might be a little problem getting it to work, but nothing prevents me from using it. As other reviews have pointed out, it doesn't make "clean" garlic chunks if that's what you're looking for. I think it tends to mash it more than anything, but it gets the job done just as well (and lets the juices come out better for better flavor, if at all). It's definitely thicker and stronger than I thought it would be. it would be. Depending on the size of the actual garlic clove (especially large cloves), I cut it in half before sticking it in the garlic. I put both halves to one side, so I'm doing 2 cloves at a time. I usually use a mini rubber spatula to scoop out each piece of garlic - I especially like that. But it sticks together, so most of it comes out at once. I also used Garlic Twist to slice fresh ginger roots. However, it is more fibrous than garlic and much more difficult to "roll". I managed to do this a few times before I started giving it to my husband to roll instead since I was doing the whole root. It was MUCH faster, MUCH easier, and MUCH cleaner than grating the ginger like I did (which ended up being "mashed" anyway, so there was absolutely no difference). You no longer have to clean all the holes with a fine grater! And you don't have to try to clean all those little holes in the garlic press anymore.
