Review on Polk Audio DB462 Speakers Certification by Brian Cheney

I bought these for my 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ. I wanted something that could withstand the elements. I installed them about a month ago and they have been fantastic. The sound quality is pretty good, I can only imagine it would be better with a small marine amp. I intend to get an alternative version for my overhead soundbar. Installation was very easy. Build quality seemed pretty good. The only thing that struck me was that the actual terminals and the way they were laid out seemed a little flimsy and could have been designed a little better (IMO). The only other complaint I have is that they tend to be a bit expensive compared to the competition (probably not as well built) compared to other marine speakers. I like the Polk Audio brand as I have had several home theater speakers over the years and have always been happy with their quality. But I felt that the retail price for them was a bit higher than usual compared to the competitors' prices.
