When I saw the price of this monocular I knew I could risk buying it but thought it would be difficult, the basic optics to mess around forever. No, I was wrong. First off, it's not a long-range 12x zoom. At best, this is an increase of 2-3 times. Still, I can't get it to focus. I spent an hour trying to fine-tune it, but I never got a sharp image, and the further you are from the center of the image, the blurrier it gets. Also, it smells awful. It's like a mixture of rubber and resin. It lingers in the air and on everything it touches. I had to use a pumice stone to get the smell off my hands. This is a terrible monocular. Nozzles are just as bad in design. The phone holder doesn't stretch very far and it looks like the springs are about to break. I couldn't get it to stop on any of the phones I tested with. The tripod is very small. I can't understand how to set it up to use. Ultimately, I would just avoid this monocular. It's poorly made, it smells awful and it's just a waste of money. I'll return it quickly.
