Tl;dr, these are the best AirPod cases out there, don't doubt it This is my second Catalyst case for my second set of AirPods and I'm telling you. I will NEVER buy any other kind. They're durable, stylish, keep dirt out and, most importantly, give me 100% security that my expensive headphones won't fall out. I'm the type who can be a bit rough and/or clumsy with my stuff, so I'm giving the money to a good cause and that's fitting. I've had other cases from other brands that make amazing iPhone cases, but I've found that they can't make an AirPod case that will stay closed, let alone protect the product, for pennies. Admittedly, the Pro model is a bit more complicated than the previous model, but that's true without a case, and that also means it won't open accidentally! I've seen others complain that the silicone charging case is difficult to take out, but then again, that's a good thing, and how often are you going to take it off anyway? I have no idea how some of them broke their carabiner. keep mine on the keys and my old model hasn't even stretched in almost two years. I've never dropped a single suitcase in water, but I don't see how he could have missed anything. There is a tiny gap between the folding part. down and the body, but the main gasket comes from the sides tightened with cling film. Sure, the silicone picks up a little more lint/dirt compared to a hard case, but it's not hard to wipe off. The advantage of this case for AirPods 2 is that the carabiner stays out when it is on the charging pad. on the go and no longer interferes with the seal, so I no longer have to remove it. IMPORTANT update here! All the buttons/ports/lights line up perfectly, which *wasn't* the last one, so I'm pretty happy too! something special but it adds a bit of design flair. It's worth it to me, but if you don't care, save a few bucks and go for a regular case - you get exactly the same feature!
