I've bought several different teapots lately, including several in the shape of different animals. Llama is cut in half under the neck to insert the tea leaf. To restore it, you will have to put a lot of effort. You have to angle it right to wrap the lip under your neck because it has almost no gap then you have to stretch the rest over the lip. Once you have a loose leaf that can interfere with the lip, it becomes IMPOSSIBLE to put it back together. I spent a good 5 minutes assembling the llama and finally gave up and poured the tea into another teapot which was easier to work with. I don't know if it's worth returning, but it's definitely worth taking the time to complain about how disappointing this tea infuser was.
