After "cleaning" the new filter by filling the Zero Water jug reservoir and filtering the new filter for the first time, my TDS count was around 50. Then , five filters "Cleanup" took TDS lower, but still in double digits. I didn't filter the more expensive California water to see if it eventually reached TDS=0, which is what I get with ZeroWater filters. Of course, they have their own problems, which I won't go into detail in this review. I can try a second filter after my zero filter reaches TDS=6 in about 12-14 days. Update - tried a second filter on 7/10/21 with similar results. After reading some good reviews I came to the conclusion that there is a quality issue in the manufacture of this product. Unfortunately I have to resort to the expensive ZeroFilter product for the time being until another solution comes along.
