Drain plug leaking like crazy

Purchased for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler solely for the convenience of a drain plug. The drain plug is in a location that is difficult to access for maintenance. It's not easy to get, but with a little effort, you can access it. Build quality is good, but the drain plug leaks like there's no tomorrow. I read the reviews before buying and thought this was an isolated case, I even tightened the plug before installing and filling the pan as a precaution. off the pan and had to go to work for a week. I come back and there's over two quarts of gear oil on the garage floor. Very disappointed with the product. I know people don't have a good opinion of Dorman products but gosh it's hard to lump a decent quality plug in one.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
