I have different opinions on this review; While the item looks good, is fairly small and works great on the one hand, it has a few features that make me wonder if it will be used for a long time. Firstly, what perhaps should have been obvious from the picture but wasn't is that the small end cap is easy to lose. Maybe it doesn't matter, but he's tiny and I like to mind my stuff. Second, as others have reported, the item heats up very quickly; So hot that sometimes I wonder if it could damage the SD card. I haven't read any reports about it but it's surprisingly hot and it makes me a little nervous. I think I'll probably try another card reader for that reason alone, although it's very nice in design and small in size. , this one seems to work fine. I still wouldn't leave the SD card in longer than necessary, but I can't say I've had any problems at all.
