Appearance These scissors look good apart from the green glass brick. With a rock it looks like these scissors are for women! This suggests that they are sharp and grab the hair when sheared. My husband has had a barber shop in Beverly Hills for years AND both of my daughters have had their hair cut in the film industry as well. I needed a haircut and I got these scissors for one of my daughters and my husband to cut her hair. Both liked the scissors and found them neither too big nor too heavy. They thought it was convenient to use and it worked well. These are not professional scissors but for home trimming and they are new and sharp, these cut hair quite well but not really for salon work as they won't stay sharp all day or stand up to cutting hair. Professional scissors cost several hundred euros. For a homemade knife the price is good, how long it will last who knows! I am considering these scissors for a homemade knife. 4 1/2 stars. Have fun
