Reliable performance in a small package!

This Jackery Explorer 240Wh was purchased on 12/12/18 and reviewed on 3/3/19. Regardless of the weather, I go hiking more than 120 days a year. I have 30 tents of different sizes, shapes and designs, each one I adapt to my needs. I camp all over the US and keeping my devices charged is very important to me. The Jackery 240 Protective Carry Bag which I highly recommend. I love this little charging station. I first used it on a 3 week trip to Quartzsite, Arizona to collect RTR 2019. I charged 4 action cameras, 4 MavicPro batteries, an iPhone6, 6 18650 batteries for the 12V fan and a 10,000mAh battery. day and was at 100% at 3:30 p.m. If you look at the image of the shadow on the panel you can see that it was still charging at 10W while most panels are not charging at all when the shadow is even 10% of the panel. I also bought a tote bag that goes perfectly with it. The 50W solar panel is well made but not waterproof as it has external USB-A and USB-C ports. The 50W solar panel came with a nice protective case to store it in when not in use. 15% off and I had a HoboTech YouTube channel discount code and was able to buy a second one for $197. I also bought the Jackery 240 Protective Carry Bag to protect my investment. Yes, solar panels are a bit pricey, but they're worth it. They are very comfortable, well made, foldable, take up less space when not in use, are strong and durable and do the job described. The solar panel kit has 2 outputs: 1x USB-A port 5V/2.4A and 1x USB-C port 5V/3A, 1 x DC port 16.2V/3, 15A at 50W, which allows you to charge multiple devices at the same time, like my Explorer 240Wh and iPhone, iPad4 tablet and/or action camera. I can charge anywhere WITHOUT having to carry around 5 gallons of gas, and my 2200w alternator makes my setup eco-friendly. The solar panel kit includes a 50w Jackery solar panel, a 3m extension cable, one of the best in the business today. I contacted them with questions and received prompt, professional responses to my questions. Outstanding company and tech support team (hello@jackery.com). The 3m cable connecting the solar panel to the Explorer 240 Wh is no longer offered which is the only downside. However, I did my 20 foot extension. I will be buying a 440w power station and 100w solar panel kit soon.
