I was really excited when I bought these because my new apartment doesn't have an ice maker and I HATE traditional ice cube trays. I especially like that they come with lids so I don't have to worry about spilling water on the floor or in the freezer. When I took the bowls out of the packaging they appeared to be quite strong, but when I put the lids on I found that the only thing holding the lid to the silicone is the ledge. No clips, hooks, latches etc to hold the covers in place. Also when I filled the trays with water and grabbed them by the edges, the center sagged and water spilled out. When I tried to keep them centered, the edges sagged and water spattered. I don't have enough hands to hold both edges AND the middle. If you have three hands and hate working lids, then this product is for you. If not, I recommend you keep looking.
