I’m impressed with this mop and bucket set. Prior to getting this mop I had been using just a swifter wet jet in my hardwood floors. Wow let me tell you… I now realize how little my swifter was actually cleaning my floors. Using this mop has made a big difference in getting dirt up off my floors that I didn’t even realize was there. The swifter was just pushing it around and not picking it up. But the sponge of this mop actually gets the dirt up, you can tell because when your done the water is definitely dirty. My floors look great now.The mop is easy to assemble and disassemble if you don’t want to keep it upright. The pull mechanism is fairly easy to use, though it does require a little arm strength. The sponge has to be good and saturated with water in order to do the pull mechanism to wring it out. I also really like the collapsible bucket that is oblong in shape to fit the size of the mop head. Like other reviewers have stated, it’s a bit cumbersome to move the bucket once it’s filled. The sides are not rigid because they are the part that "collapses” so if the bucket is really full it’s hard to move it without some spillage. This is fine for me because my hardwood floors are all in one area where I don’t really have to move the bucket much. I’ve also found that if you don’t overfill the bucket it doesn’t spill. All in all I’m really pleased with this mop and bucket set.
