I bought this little pump because I was tired of taking buckets of water out of the pool and pouring it onto the grass where it is flooding. Here in 45 minutes the entire sidewalk was drained after a very heavy downpour, we were unaware there was a 5 inch puddle in our encapsulated subgrade, it was in an awkward spot, I had no choice but this one Pump stuck in covers straight into the puddle and deep, and behold, he pumped out all the water. I am very happy with this little pump, it works harder than me. I gave it five stars because it's everything I've ever wanted in a pump! The hose is about 16 feet long, the pump is small but does the job.
