Great little HUD on top video

Very good HUD at a reasonable price. If you're looking for a cleaner, no-frills HUD, this is it. I unpacked mine, took it to my car and plugged it into the odb2 port. I placed mine right above the dash and it still had plenty of extra cord length so the cord is long enough even if you want to place it in the center of the dash. As soon as I plugged it in there was a readout for battery voltage and then it defaulted to KPH. I went into settings and changed it to MPH. It's easy to get into the settings, just press and hold the dial until you hear a beep. Then move the wheel up or down to choose which menu item you want to change. You need to drive and see how far the reading is from your car's speedometer, then go into the calibration menu and change that value to adjust it to match your car's speedometer. The default is 108 per cal. I made some adjustments.drive.adjust.drive.adjust. I went with setting 104 on my 2016 Kia Optima sxl and it's pretty accurate. I am not using the film that came with the kit. Looks like it's just window tint. But that square on the windshield distracted me. Yes, it is not needed, everything is visible even in bright sunlight. I left it set to auto brightness. You can set it up manually if you like. It has a double image on the windshield but it has nothing to do with the HUD. It's just how they all will be unless you use a separate piece of glass for projection. This is due to the way windshields are made. It doesn't bother me and I no longer have to look down to see my speed. I love the clean look. I didn't want a bunch of stuff on the display to distract me. I just wanted speed. That's great.
