So far these are working pretty good for me. I have a normal to large size head and these fit great. No they don't keep my hair dry. My ears never hurt in these either. I have mid back length hair that I put into messy low bun. If I put my hair into high bun, it stays drier (just the bun part not really everywhere else) but then I have problems with the cap slipping up on my head. I also don't have any problems with these pulling my hair whether I put them on with my hair wet or dry. Would love to find a cap that keeps my hair drier but don't think one actually exists (I know that's not the point of the cap but it sure would be nice to swim and not have wet hair afterwards!) Great deal for two pack, have already been glad I had two so I could borrow one to a friend at the pool!
