Review on Tribest Solostar SS-4200-B: Premium White Masticating Juicer for Ultimate Freshness by John Ruelas

We have a citrus press, a centrifugal juicer and now a masticatory press. All three serve these purposes well. We use the Tribest Solostar 4 Juicer to juice spinach, microgreens and other leafy greens. The amount of juice extracted from these leafy greens is amazing, a centrifugal juicer can't match it. We also make coconut cream out of it (we live in Hawaii and collect the coconuts we find). Oh yeah, shrimp curry with FRESH coconut cream is the best (YUM). The Tribest Solostar 4 is relatively quiet and has a small footprint. It was easy to find a home on the kitchen counter for everyday use. The juice pictured in this review is made with spinach, celery, and carrots. Cleaning the Tribest Solostar 4 isn't difficult, but you do need to turn it on during your juicing time as you don't want the fibers on and in the strainer cone to dry. . Just plan on deleting it right away, in about five minutes. It helps to juice the carrots after the leafy greens to push through the fiber and it adds great flavor to your juice. Cleaning takes a little longer after the coconut has gone through the machine. Just add the juicer cleaning to your schedule and you're good to go. We've been using this juicer for about a month now and haven't had any jams or other issues with it. We're happy with our choice, which was helped by John Kohler of Discount Juicers with his YouTube juicer comparison videos. Unfortunately we weren't able to support John by purchasing the Tribest Solostar 4 from Discount Juicers, but again, we live in Hawaii and Discount Juicers' free shipping only covers the mainland 48 states. If you're looking for a juicer and aren't sure what type of juicer or brand/model of juicer to buy, check out John Kohler's YouTube video, he's been making this for years. A word of caution, John can be a little overwhelming, just deal with it, his enthusiasm is genuine and the information he provides is extremely helpful.
