This is my fourth Leick table. Obviously I find them very valuable - beautiful, classic, well made from solid wood and fairly easy to assemble. This table is perfect for the small wall opposite the front door and entrance to the spacious foyer. I'm a petite woman who found it possible to assemble Leick tables in about 15 minutes using the 'tool kit' provided. (I also have a Leick console table with a shelf nearly twice the length of this one, an edge table with a shelf, and a "chair" table with a shelf.) "Glitch" in this purchase, and it's the ONLY glitch I've ever had to collide with Lake is that the shelf just wouldn't snap into place as instructed in the instructions. I ended up having to turn the table over, slide the shelf into place below, and then place the shelf supports under the shelf when it was in place. Given the beauty and elegance of the table, I consider this a minor inconvenience, leading to a 4 1/2 star rating. This table is described as "chocolate oak" but matches my other items perfectly which are described as "chocolate cherry".
