Very good entry level camera with some extra features found in more expensive cameras. The zoom is very impressive. The learning curve for this camera is very short (even beginners and advanced photographers don't need to read the manual at all). The reason I'm giving the camera four stars instead of five is because of the multi-jack cover. It is very thin and can easily break; However, this is by no means a waterproof camera and the open connector compartment can be acceptable (I was tempted to give this camera three stars because of this issue, but I love everything else about this product and it would be unfair to give low ratings just because of it a problem with the lid). The camera was on sale. I bought it for less than $100 (a fantastic deal for a 24x zoom camera). Verdict: Despite the port cover issue, this camera is a good deal and worth considering.
