I have had my Olympus SZ-12 for a few years now. There are newer models that do a little more, but I can count on my little Olympus to take good autofocus photos. I upload my digital photos to my MacBook using iPhoto. This helps improve them even more. I like the fact that no external batteries are required. The battery charges while I upload photos to my computer for editing. I like this good basic digital camera.

Very good entry level camera with some extra features found in more expensive cameras. The zoom is very impressive. I'm not a photo genius at all. I love taking photos to remind myself of where I've been or what we're doing. I bought this camera because it always shoots wide, which I like. There are different mode settings depending on the type of image. Read the instructions to understand what they do. I ordered one of these from HSN (SZ-11) in 2011 for my son and daughter-in-law.
