This product is a must for anyone working in the IT industry. Good product!

I had a strange problem on my home network where my router (thanks AT&T) was acting like crazy. I had problems with ARP/IP addresses. I've spent hours diagnosing this problem and have concluded that the problem is with my network adapter or router. I thought buying this little guy would be useful for future network troubleshooting and I couldn't reset my router. I plugged it in and my router responded to my computer again. I got permission to tear down the router and start over. This NIC is now in my tech bag to help with future troubleshooting. Pros: - Price - The price of this makes it something that should be in every troubleshooting kit - Drivers - Windows 7 Ult seems to have compatible drivers built in. I assume Windows 10 does the same. - USB 3 - with USB 2.0 the speed is limited to a maximum of 480 Mbps. Cons: - Not sure if I can answer this question as I haven't used it for a long time. All in all, if you work in the IT industry, this is a product you should own. You often come across areas where an additional network adapter can make sense. Since it can be used in laptops or desktops, it's really cheap and very compact, I highly recommend it. Nowadays, companies are releasing laptops that only include WIFI, so you can connect to a wired line. It also works with Windows tablets. I should try this with Android and see how it works.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Not everything fits
