SO---disappointed with this product! First, the instructions are terrible. I had to use a highlighter to highlight the important steps AND the purpose of the pen caps was absolutely NOT mentioned. Well maybe I'm slow witted but I'm new to anti bark devices and have no idea what the pen caps might be for but they came with the product so I put the pen caps on. I used it on my GS dog and started on the low setting (2). I could hear the noise and my dog was happy when he first heard the noise but it did NOTHING to stop her from barking. Then I increased the mode to 4 and still nothing. We tried the device all weekend and it did not harm my dog in any way. Is it the covers or not? I will never know as there was NO INFORMATION on their use and was not in any of the reviews I read. Signature, extremely disappointed with crappy, poorly written instructions.
