I love taking salads to work and I always have a hard time finding a way to keep them from getting soggy from other salad items. These little containers did it! The containers are the same as a restaurant salad, although you may need two containers if you like a lot of dressing. Each container holds around 4TB and I've never had a lid come off in transit. I usually wear one to dress up and one to the feta. I could think of many other uses for it - take your favorite hand cream with you on a trip, jelly shots (as the packaging would suggest), take other condiments with you such as B. Ketchup for your kids. My only small issue with these mugs and the reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the packaging. When I tried to open it, the plastic ripped quickly and the cups flew. The ones I bought from the grocery store were a lot more expensive due to fewer cups, but came in a box for easy storage. I moved them into a gallon ziploc to pick them up.
