Review on 🛹 Hella Hangers – Clear Skateboard Deck Hanger Mount: Perfect Hanging Display for Skateboards and Longboards, Ideal Gift for Skaters by David Butterfield

It pains me to give this 3 stars because it should be 5 stars. My deck has too much camber so the mounting pins aren't long enough to go through the board. The board touches the wall and the clear pins are flush with the board. There is no place to fasten with an elastic band. I bought it to showcase a limited edition signed board. I thought it was the perfect product. It was too easy to install and awesome. Other solutions attached the board to the screws, which made me worried about not scratching the holes in the deck. It has smooth plastic. I think I'll have to build a 1/2" wood backing to get between the Hella hanger and the wall. My simple setup is going to be a little woodworking project. It'll be visible from the side of the board so it needs to look decent huh means the edges are painted/stained and milled to go to the webpage and the first video is a product video which I assumed was an installation video I then clicked the install link and it was just text instructions when a video would have been appropriate I really just wanted to quickly check if I should attach the pins to the back before attaching it to the wall and clarify that the two tone rubber bands are for aesthetics.
