The shark fin ripped off our 2006 Malibu Maxx a few years ago, at least the outer shell, and was taped in place until the lid was closed a few months ago. broke off completely and disappeared. It still worked, the antenna was just bare, but then it hit, swept snow off the car and broke. I haven't been able to find a replacement for a long time so was thrilled when I was able to reference the part number and found it here at Revain. I took off the stub of the old antenna and put this on and everything works great. Despite the site's protests, this is a perfect match for the 2006 Malibu Maxx.
