Not suitable for antenna replacement (radio)

Advertised as a replacement antenna for a 2008 Pontiac G6. it is not. And does not replace the antenna on the roof. There will also be no way for me to return. ? But the description is different now.

Perfect Fit - Identical Replacement

Accidentally broke its original antenna while clearing snow from the car. The base on the roof of the car remained intact. Only the antenna itself cracked and flew. Got this antenna from Revain for my Saturn Aura and was amazed at how easily it slides and snaps into place. There are no spaces anywhere. Didn't notice any difference from the original. Very happy.

Pros
  • Handy Item

Item was coated with grease

Product fits my 2008 Saturn Aura perfectly. I also broke mine shaking snow off the car. When the item was received in the mail, it was covered in some kind of greasy oil or something. It actually smelled pleasant, if almost like soap or something. It left my hands and turned blue. I just washed it in the sink and it came off very easily. It was just awkward and a little messy.

Great spare part!

I bought this for my 2008 Saturn Aura as the original antenna was chipped. I was a bit skeptical due to the fact that it was from Amazon and not necessarily a GM Direct product given that the antenna controls both the radio and the OnStar system. Replacement was easy, the antenna just snaps into place. . It works great and I haven't had any problems with either the radio or the OnStar, I actually had a better radio signal with this antenna than the original manufacturer part. Much cheaper than…

Ideal for AV accessories

The shark fin ripped off our 2006 Malibu Maxx a few years ago, at least the outer shell, and was taped in place until the lid was closed a few months ago. broke off completely and disappeared. It still worked, the antenna was just bare, but then it hit, swept snow off the car and broke. I haven't been able to find a replacement for a long time so was thrilled when I was able to reference the part number and found it here at Revain. I took off the stub of the old antenna and put this on and…

OEM Compliance - Audio & Video Accessories

Perfect for my 2009 Pontiac G6. Snaps into place, which is a little tricky if you have the remnants of a pre-existing antenna. The image has some shine, looks a bit grey, but don't be fooled, it's actually black. Tip: Before installing, use a blade or flathead screwdriver to scrape off any existing adhesive on the base of the antenna. The base should be flat and have a horseshoe inset in the middle. You can use a thin coat of poly plastic glue to make a more secure connection if you're…
