Review on Professional 2 in 1 Hair Straightener and πŸ”₯ Curler with Ceramic Tourmaline Ionic Technology for All Hair Types by Jill Graham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly; Designed for right handed people :(

My current hair straightener is failing (accidentally turns off more frequently while I'm using it) so I wanted to get a new one before this one works just as well as my old one and I won't get one look for another because you can't accidentally twist everything the cord on my old one is twisted badly heat protection glove a bit scratchy for me (but i'm sensitive to that sort of thing) i don't know how hand size correlates with body size either, but i'm on the shorter side and the glove is a bit tight for me. Box packed very tight to the point where it is difficult to open the valve to take out the inner packaging. I always try to keep the item boxes in good condition, when I open it, and I don't could open this box without accidentally tearing it apart (see fig image). The reason I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5 is the asymmetrical design. It's curved on the edges I think to make it easier to use for curling, but it's made so that the plates are slanted and the top and bottom have a kind of "wedge" shape. a curved edge/side on the right and a very short curved edge on the left and the back below (the right edge is very short). Because the panels are inclined, they are closer to your skin/hair (and therefore warm) with a short edge. This causes two problems: first, it falls on its side when you try to put it on the counter. Second, if you are left-handed and using this, attach the short curved edge to the scalp at the bottom right corner, and. hot. I've tried using it with my right hand and it leads to the big curved side on the bottom left against the scalp and the short side on top and against your hair (where you can't accidentally touch it with your skin). . The large curved side is still quite hot, but not as hot as the short one. So if you don't use that right hand, you'll either accidentally injure yourself a little (not enough to actually burn your skin, but enough). so it's uncomfortable for a while), or you just have to be very, very careful how close you get to the scalp and at what angle you hold it at all times. That's not really my definition of "fun". every time you use a routine tool, remind yourself that left-handers are often forgotten when designing their products.
