Complete scrap. Windows7 is not formatted when used as Raid1. Device Manager sees the device and Raid1 and creates a partition, but cannot format the drive. Using WD Red drives tested with WD DataLifeguard software. Tried 2 computers with the same results. Tripp Lite tech support doesn't know anything about this product and had to put my search on hold. When he came back he said it "might" work if it was the only device plugged into my computer. Using WD Red drives. I do troubleshooting myself. Both drives can be partitioned and formatted with this device as a basic setting for two drives. Both drives can be partitioned and formatted with JBOD.
