Review on πŸ–₯️ Silverstone Precision Micro Chassis - SST PS07B by Adam Koakowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

Overall, it's ok if it's not for the price. Overpriced. Has pros: Reasonable design - not perfect, but not bad. There is where to put the wires, a separate air intake with a dust filter for the power supply, a removable basket for disks, a good package bundle (ties, adapters), normal ventilation - I think it is important for non-standard processor heatsinks. For regular Intel - no difference. Some cons: Installed fans - three-pin. The manufacturer would not overstrain and equip with four-pin ones, it would be easier to control the speed. Vibration-damping elements in the disk basket are more for decoration, they do not cope with the main task. Probably not treated - just a design feature of the basket. Removable covers for transportation are fixed with green electrical tape, traces of which are then difficult to wipe off from the case. It is strange to give 2800, and then wash the body. It was easier to put the top cover inside the case in a bubble wrap, and not seal the front door at all, anyway, it keeps well with foam during transportation. Cable management not well thought out. Some moments when laying upset, we have already written about this before. At least the USB 3.0 connector from the front panel could have been made not so hard (or even angular). If the power supply has only two cables for powering drives and drives, but you need to connect a DVD (top), hard drive (in the basket) and SSD (bottom), then you have to think. Strongly. Up to moving the disk from the basket to the five-inch bay, and removing the basket so that it does not vibrate. Actually, this has already been written about before. The fixation of the base for the motherboard was not impressive - when assembled, you have to put the base in place, applying effort. Probably, the rear panel of the motherboard is to blame, they did it slightly according to the drawings, as the manufacturer did. The legs on the body are glued to the snot, with a calm, unhurried assembly, one nevertheless guessed to fall off. Four holes and four screws would solve the problem more reliably. Issue price: with average quality and good ergonomics, the price tag is not encouraging - the brand does not reach the mainstream in quality, but catches up in price. The fair price is two thirds of the declared one.
