Excellent, but an incorrigible mistake! Edit: fixed!

The system worked great and I highly recommend emptying the bin at RV dumps rather than emptying it down the toilet. To aerate the freshwater chamber so it doesn't build up pressure, air needs to be sucked in every time you pump water into the bowl. Thus the cap has to suck in air and cannot be airtight and watertight. In a car, every time water is pumped back and forth, it can easily seep through the cover. The designers then provided a unique screw lock and additional plastic parts in the lid to prevent adding a gasket. until they change the design, be sure to wrap a paper towel around the lid to soak up the water, otherwise your floor will quickly get wet! EDIT: Lowes sells a flat, thin gasket that provides an acceptable seal for the new watt cap. It's in the plumbing/toilet section. Next to the toilet parts, look for a red round gasket about 3" x 1/16" in diameter.
