I'm having trouble connecting 2 external monitors (Lenovo and HP) to my old Panasonic Toughbook dock. The only way to do this is to use VGA for one and a Displayport for the other. My dock doesn't have a display port, only HDMI and a VGA connector, so I bought it. HDMI to DisplayPort and DisplayPort to HDMI are NOT the same. Thank you to all the sellers of both products for making this very clear. Unfortunately, HDMI to Display is $33 and Display to HDMI is $7, but it works, so it was worth it. Image quality is good, no blurring or flickering as others have reported. I didn't need a USB power cable. I recommend it.
