Review on Canfield Dgs Solder 1 Lb by Juston Alonso

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like this solder because it spreads well when using 100.

I like this solder because it spreads well with a 100 watt iron and darkens with the Novacon Black patina. His blackout ability is what I really like about him. A big plus is that it contains no lead. I use two different types of flux with this solder depending on the application, namely Fluxomatic-sg (clear thick gel) and Worthington water-based lead-free flux (white paste form). A few words on using patina: Pour some into a container that looks like a water bottle cap. Dip the brush and wipe over the work. Clean the brush with a paper towel before applying more. The problem with patina is that it gets darker once it hits the metal, but its darkening power seems to diminish fairly quickly, so you'll need to add more, but you don't want to dip your dirty brush into a clean patina because more won't do as well function. . I assume it neutralizes itself as soon as it touches the metal. Never dip the brush directly into the patina. Bad idea. This is one of my favorite bobs.
