Should have read the reviews. Or pay much more attention to performance. THIS IS WITHOUT ELECTRICITY. If you want to plug in a USB-powered spinning drive, you're not going to have a good time. Plug in two spinning drives and if they work at all, pressing the power button on one will disconnect and reconnect the other. Good keyboard, wireless mouse transmitter, phone charger. much luck. So many USB devices require more power than this hub can deliver that I'm having trouble making sense of it. Oh, and that wireless mouse transmitter? Plug it directly in and interference *is* a problem. In addition, the cable is as short as in the photo. It's fine to park right next to your laptop if you want all your stuff *right* *here*, but too short for anything else unless you like it hanging at the awkward angle that the buttons taking over the power supply for each port is less useful. This thing is useless to me. I'm only giving it 3 stars because it seems to be working as intended. So if you're looking for an unpowered hub with a short cable, I don't think it will work for you.
