The EXACY top bolt is the same size as the OE> - I reused the original top nut and washer. Same exact size. For those complaining about the length of the top bolt - look at your old shock - you need to take the top washer from the old shock and put the new one on. This is a very simple task - just watch what you do and what you replace. Jack; Wheel hub wrench/bump wrench for wheels. A 10mm and 15mm socket (1/4 drive is fine) and a 13mm wrench. however, do not block access to the shock's bottom bolt. IMHO they offer the same ride as the OE.
