Review on Optimized Search: Petit Collage Nesting Stacking Characters by Michael Gupta

Very charming but quite expensive

Petit Collage playset with 3 wooden dolls. Four log cabins, each smaller than the previous one, neatly stacked on top of each other for quick cleanup and on-the-go fun. Work entrances are beautifully designed from recycled cardboard. The three wooden figures remind me of Mama, Papa and the little bear. My 20 month old granddaughter immediately said "bear" when she saw the figures. She likes to play with these log cabins. At first she put them the wrong way and was frustrated. We had to keep a close eye on her because she wanted to sit on it. Of course, when she does this for the first time, this little house will be ready. She is by no means a destructive child. But she sits and steps on almost anything smaller than her. She's had this set since Christmas and still plays with it every day, so long-term interest isn't an issue. However, there is a lifetime. It's only been five weeks and every home is showing signs of damage. The corners are the main problem - the cardboard seems to be separating. This is an adorable nesting set. It has given my granddaughter many, many hours of enjoyment. (You need to be careful and make sure your little ones don't sit or step on them.) The beech wood figures are adorable and a great addition to interactive play. At $30 I feel way overpriced for what you get and with a limited lifespan.

Pros
  • EASY STORAGE. When it's time to tidy up, the playhouse packaging doubles as a storage container thanks to magnetic closures that keep everything inside secure.
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok
