I mainly use this tape on carabiners. The glow disappears in the absence of light. If I drop a marked carbine from a tree, I can usually find it either by its normal afterglow or with a black light (UV) flashlight. Close your eyes, use a flash, the exposed film will glow. They are much easier to find in dim light or total darkness. The adhesive is not weatherproof, but suitable for this application. Ropes and cords do not come into contact with the band at all as it is placed on the spine. This helps in determining ownership. Use the glue-to-glue anchoring method before finalizing the packaging. It is easy to replace the case. Not limited to this use. Not for stealth, lol!
