The calipers I received were missing one of the two mounting bolts at the top of the head. Additionally, it appears to have been assembled incorrectly, causing it not only to stick more than 0.2 inches when open, but also to slip the gears, resulting in extremely inaccurate measurements. And in addition to mechanical defects, there were FOD pieces in the dial, which is extremely unprofessional and only speaks of the manufacturer's inability to maintain an acceptable package. The case was perhaps the only worthy part of the product, and it opens and closes in the most satisfying way. Unfortunately, the foam inserts for the calipers weren't cut properly, causing them to rattle internally. In conclusion, don't waste your money on a poor quality product; It's worth spending the extra money for something that actually works.
