THE TEETH ARE NOT SMOOTH they are silicone
Bought for my teenage daughter, hooked it up and planning to show her how to use it. One pass through her hair and we knew it wasn't for us. SILICONE teeth. On white girls, or at least on our hair texture, they stick and pull and create extreme levels of static electricity! It didn't slide through her clean hair at all. And I love all the stuff HOT TOOLS does, but this thing is back! I should have read more details before ordering. my fault
