Review on 🍳 Cuisinart French Classic Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware Set - 13-Piece, Silver by Leslie Mayo

The honeymoon is over. I've had this set for about 9 months now and so far the pot/lid is in great condition. I wish I could say the same about the skillet. Let me start by saying that I hand wash all my pots and pans and do not own or use any metal utensils to help with the cooking. I also run the setup, usually on a medium temperature induction cooktop. The good thing is that it heats up/cooks evenly and heats up quickly (due in part to the fact that I have an induction hob). Bad - my main complaint is less than a year of use, but the non-stick coating (Teflon?) is already starting to peel off the edges of the pan. I've had cheaper pans that lasted longer than this one. Also, I'm in Hawaii so I won't pay $$$ to send it back only to be told it's not covered by their "lifetime warranty". After all it was a great bargain if I bought the same pan it would cost the same as this 3 piece set. Like any other non-stick coating, it becomes useless over time. When I saw the non-stick coating starting to peel off, I realized it was no longer safe to use as parts of the coating could rub off onto food. I just wish it didn't take as long as I hoped.
