I've been a Milwaukee fan for decades. Maybe not in this decade. I bought this nail gun brand new and a set of new 18V tools to replace my tired old V-18. Didn't work out of the box. Home Depot gave me another one. On the next job, nailing the baseboard, it overheated and stayed off for over an hour. Brought it back to Home Depot, bought another one. If I drive in more than 10 nails in a row, e.g. B. cutting a door, it stops. For 15-20 minutes. So find something else to do or grab a hammer, hand washers and a set of nails. By the time the gun works again, I'm done. In less than a year, Home Depot replaced the gun twice, the charger twice (the third time I threw it away and bought another so I didn't have to wait for the only guy in the store to replace it again), and fixed the drill once. All from the same set that I bought at the same time. A small feature of this weapon is that the head is so large that it can be difficult to see where you are nailing. When cutting 1/4 inch, nail placement can make a world of difference. The good news is that this doesn't work often enough to be a problem.
