The basket is fine for my daughter's 20 inch bike. When attaching the handlebars to the bike, the clip (located in the middle of the handlebars) prevents the basket from sitting securely. You can bounce the basket around or cut a hole about a quarter size in it and the basket will sit flat on the bike. It still bounces like that, so I hooked the hooks around the bike's handlebars. After two small modifications, the basket is securely attached to my daughter's bike. The basket would have gotten 5 stars if it didn't claim to be removable. But for the price it's what I wanted. We are not removing the basket and do not plan to remove it. It goes perfectly with a water bottle and her jacket, as well as other essentials that a 7-year-old girl simply needs to carry.
