Review on Corsair Mounting Bracket Drive CSSD BRKT1 by Steven Ross

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not suitable for Thermaltake Overlord cases.

Let's start with the good details. ADVANTAGES: The metal is high quality and durable. Screws for mounting are available. They're tightly packed, but can get lost if you don't turn the box upside down. - Will NOT fit the Thermaltake Overseer case. Corsair's workstand is oversized and incompatible with the ones that come with the Thermaltake case. You can still mount it, but your mount will go in at an angle and won't be perfectly level. - NO instructions. I didn't know there was a second set of screws, so I assumed my SSD wasn't compatible with the bracket. I was actually about to return the package when the last set of screws fell out. Super simple design. It's literally a flat piece of metal with screw holes. From an aesthetic point of view, this is a complete failure. In other cases it might work better.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Very expensive
