At our practice, patient comfort and experience are of the utmost importance. However, providing comfortable sheets and having to wash them daily is costly and time consuming. Sure we could outsource the laundry but that always comes at a cost no matter how we go about it. When we used these fleece sheets over our cotton sheets, the patients didn't even know they were there! There is no crackling like from a piece of paper. And it doesn't tear like paper. The only thing that could make it perfect is the length. Although a nice and slightly perforated sheet covers the treatment table, the body length of a person who is over 5 feet to 10 inches tall when you add the pillow and lie on it is longer than the length of the sheet.
