Review on AMD Ryzen 5 1600 AM4 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler (YD1600BBAFBOX) - 65W Energy Efficiency by Bogdan Mironow ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

AMD processors, as usual, did not ship in large quantities because of the intricacy involved in setting them up for optimal performance. But the buildings themselves are stunning. While they wait for the next update, wait staff can pass the time by weighing parrots on 4 cores. And fans are already basking in the glory of ridiculously low prices, low power requirements, and low temperatures.

Pros
  • The 1600 series is affected by the recall. First, the price: at this level, you can only get an i5 processor with a fixed multiplier. Two, effectiveness. Even in your most beloved games, he will produce any Kaby Lake at roughly the same frequency as you. You can obtain a few more frames per second (fps) on Intel if you bump up the clock to 4.5-4.7 GHz, but you'll also have to deal with a lot of more heat and the emergence of friezes, which have now appeared even on the i7. When compared to even a budget CPU like the Intel 1600, its overall performance is abysmal. 3 Multiplier unlocked. We relaxedly settle on a range of 3.9–4.1 GHz, and we're very happy about it. The ideal choice is 3.9 since it does not call for a drastic rise in voltage. This state causes no degradation or overheating. The difference of 200 MHz isn't worth abusing the CPU. 4. Cold. Icy cold. A stress test utilizing all 12 threads barely reached 60 degrees Celsius when run at a frequency of 3.9.
Cons
  • Yes, everyone has their flaws; the original generation of ZEN was saddled with the disadvantage of crystal packaging technology, which prevented the setting of frequencies higher than 4.1. From the perspective of the average buyer, this is hardly a deal breaker. Those who enjoy quantifying parrots are harsh critics. Second, the memory controller. No one has walked on it yet but the indolent. Agesoy rule, and it works like a charm. After eating the bios, I silently overclocked the memory.
