I switched from bedding for my guinea pigs to half fleece and half fill for their cage. Thats much better. Your feet seem happier with this remedy as it doesn't get soggy after a few days and smells a lot better in my opinion. I've found that cat litter pellets are the same and even cheaper to buy. A bag of paper bedding pellets lasts about two months for the "kitchen" part of my cage used by two pigs. It's worth a try if you're looking for a variety of bedding options.
